manufactured Model 1917 steel helmet retains 90% textured olive drab
finish. Has unit inscription "159 / U.S. / F.A." engraved into the paint
on the front, then fill with black paint. Interior complete with liner and
chinstrap. Size marked "7 1/8". As there was never a 159th Field Artillery
Regiment organized, this helmet must be from the Brigade with that number
which was part of the 84th Division. Good condition. S&H-$10.00
